I have been playing poker since the early 90’s. I started playing 4 / 8 Limit and eventually graduated to 15 / 30 Limit, well before No Limit games became popular. I regularly play 1 / 2 NL up to 5 / 10 NL and love to mix it up in 1 / 2 or 5 / 5 Pot Limit Omaha or Dealer’s Choice. Most of my poker success has come from large field Canadian poker tournaments with buy-ins from $200 to $2000.
I pride myself on being able to play well in any mainstream cash game or tournament. I look forward to learning new games, but for now their just is not any other options in my area. I do not play online. The game of poker provides a great personal challenges in my life.
I have worked my way through the casino industry from a Dealer & Cashier to Houseman & Tournament Director at the Deerfoot Inn & Casino and eventually a Poker Room Manager at the Stampede Casino. I left the casino for an opportunity with the Canadian Poker Tour as the Director of Poker Operations. After my time with the C.P.T., I became a consultant in the poker industry, which led me to creating the concepts for the Players Poker Canada web site.
Throughout my years in poker, I always knew there was a need for a comprehensive source of poker information. The Players Poker Canada web site hopefully provides just that for both casinos and poker players. I wanted to bridge the gap between casinos and poker players and help provide more consistent and reliable information in the quickest possible manner. I hope everyone enjoys Players Poker Canada and all it has to offer.
